Indy-area students earn $5,000 Ronald McDonald House scholarships

Indianapolis-area high school students earned scholarships to help them pursue continuing education.

The $5,000 scholarships from the Ronald McDonald House and USA Funds were awarded to the following Indianapolis area students:

> Ronald McDonald House Charities African-American Future Achievers — Breana Smith, Warren Central; Cameron Pate and Monet Jordan, Herron; Chasmine Anderson and Nichelle Whitney, Pike High School; Kaysee Cushenberry, Broad Ripple and James Knight, Fishers.

> Ronald McDonald House Charities Asian Students Increasing Achievement — Timothy Cho, Warren Central.

> Ronald McDonald House Charities Hispanic American Commitment to Education Resources — Angel Escamilla, Ben Davis.

> Ronald McDonald House Charities Scholars — Hannah Springer, Warren Central; Dimitry Raymond, Ben Davis and Elizabeth Daake, Center Grove.
